CELTA COURSES - 4 weeks intensive

CELTA courses are the most widely-recognised tefl courses / tesol teacher training qualification for those wishing to start a career in English language teaching. It is mainly concerned with the 塗ow・of tefl teacher training and CELTA courses are a solid foundation for English language teaching professionally. The tefl teacher training course is recognised by TEFL organisations world-wide. Cambridge CELTA tefl courses last 4 weeks. Non-native speakers of English may apply for this course, providing their English is of Cambridge Proficiency standard. We can help you with accommodation during this course.

DELTA COURSES - 8 weeks intensive 

DELTA courses are higher teacher training tefl courses for and tesol teachers with at least two years experience in tefl or English Language Teaching (ELT). It focuses on tefl methodology, theory and practical teaching skills. DELTA courses are now the benchmark qualification for British Council accreditation and vital to secure senior posts in TEFL.

Distance DELTA 2 week orientation course (8 months on-line)

This is the same tefl course and tesol teacher training course as the DELTA but delivered on-line as opposed to face to face. This is popular with many teachers who want to continue working while they do the course. You will need to devote 10-15 hours per week for 8 months.

DELTA intensive examination preparation

This is a very intensive 1-week tefl course designed to help candidates to prepare for the DELTA written examination.

Refresher Courses for Overseas Teachers July -August 2 weeks

These refresher courses for overseas teachers have been especially designed for the training of overseas teachers of English and other subjects, incorporating a balance of language and tefl methodology. It is designed to suit both experienced teachers and also teachers at the beginning of their careers. This tefl course can be designed to suit the needs of any group of teachers and is often run in conjunction with English language classes each morning. These courses qualify for Comenius funding.

International House Certificate 4 weeks

The 4-week course is recognized throughout International House World Organisation and accredited by Aston University. Non-native teachers can apply for this course providing their level of English is at least upper intermediate.

The course focuses on the teachers・ability to:

・develop learners・speaking, listening, reading and writing skills

・analyse language: grammar, lexis and phonology

・introduce, revise and practice language at a range of levels

・evaluate published and authentic materials

・motivate learners

・plan lessons

・manage classes

・adapt and respond to different learning andtefl teaching environments

・teach young learners

These courses qualify for Comenius funding.
